Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Kitchen Standards: Follow and uphold the kitchen's hygiene, safety, and quality standards at all times.

  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory, including checking stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.

  • Cleanliness: Contribute to the cleanliness of the kitchen by cleaning equipment, utensils, and work areas.

  • Teamwork: Work cooperatively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service times.

  • Recipe Execution: Prepare dishes according to established recipes, maintaining consistency in flavor and presentation.

Requirements:

  • Culinary Education: Preferably with a culinary school background or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in a similar role on a cruise ship or in a high-volume restaurant.

  • Skills: Strong cooking skills with knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.

  • Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment, often under pressure.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Language: Basic English communication skills are necessary for international operations.
