Sound Technician
Contract : 6 months
Vacation : 2 months between contracts
The Entertainment Staff –Sound position is an extension of the Stage Staff team and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of entertainment equipment as well as the daily operations of the entertainment department. The Entertainment Staff –Sound assists in the operation of all production shows, guest entertainers, musical events, theme night events and offers support to any entertainment request and need of the vessel. The Entertainment Staff –Sound position is an intermediate position between a Stage Staff and a specialized Operator
Age : at least 21 years old
Language skills: English – advanced level – MANDATORY
Minimum of three years of experience in an audio-visual function in the entertainment industry.
Coursework in theatrical sound design or audio engineering at an accredited college or university or the international equivalent, or equivalent technical experience, preferred.
Moderately skilled in the theory of sound design and audio engineering.
Able to operate, troubleshoot and maintain basic audio visual equipment.
Able to operate, maintain and inspect basic theatrical equipment including stage elements.
Microsoft Office software skills required.
Able to operate a basic laptop and projector for presentation use.
Salary : $ 2104 net/month
Facilities on board: free of charge accommodation, meals, medical services, reimburse of visa cost, flight tickets
Accommodation: shared cabin of two
Work schedule: 8 - 10 hours daily, free days by rotation in department
Job Cruise FEE : NO FEE for recruitment/ embarkation process
Embarkation costs: medical files, holder of international passport.
